Doctoral Student

Josh began his storied career as a professional student at UNC Charlotte in 1998.  After 10 magnificent years of experience in that position, he received a BS in Biology and a $500 dollar brick in 2008.  He currently works under the guidance of Dr. Steck as he did when he began his research on Bacterial Source Tracking as an undergrad.  He also researches microbial diversity and response to antibiotics in human Cystic Fibrosis.  Josh is a Taurus, enjoys hot tea before bed, and is looking forward to spending many more years at UNC Charlotte in pursuit of higher education.
