Oversees the maintenance and operation of conventional and fluorescence-based microscopes
Prepares and strains tissues for microscopic analysis
Performs routine maintenance tasks on equipment used to prepare tissue sections & acquire images
Works with imaging software- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere
Schedules and maintains the darkroom complex use and all photographic equipment
Assists faculty whose research requires histology or imaging techniques
Prepares the illustrative materials for publications, teaching, scientific meetings (i.e. poster preparation)
